About the event
Join us for 279 Miles to Mental Health Access, a statewide Walk-A-Thon uniting communities across Florida to raise awareness and expand access to mental health and wellness resources.
This powerful journey travels from Tampa to Orlando and ends at our state capital in Tallahassee, symbolizing the barriers many Floridians face when seeking care, and the collective steps we’re taking to change that. Participants can walk from anywhere while supporting on-the-ground events throughout the state.

Community Walker Pass
Join the movement and walk in solidarity for mental health access across Florida. This pass supports awareness efforts, community engagement, and statewide advocacy—every step helps close the gap. This registration includes an SSS event t-shirt and a certificate of participation presented upon completion of the walk.

Walking Advocate Partner
Walking Advocate Partners play a leadership role in the 279 Miles to Mental Health Access Walk-A-Thon 2026. With a $100 SSS partnership contribution, partners commit to organizing and leading a team of 4–6 walkers on their selected walk day. This opportunity is ideal for community advocates, organizations, schools, faith groups, small businesses, and individuals who want to make a deeper impact. Walking Advocate Partners help expand awareness, mobilize their networks, and support solutions.

Community Sponsor
With a $500 sponsorship, partners receive opportunities for event-day tabling and promotional material placement at select walk locations, allowing them to connect directly with participants and the community. This sponsorship is ideal for businesses, nonprofits, service providers, and organizations committed to mental health, wellness, and community impact. Community Sponsors help strengthen local engagement while supporting statewide advocacy and access initiatives.
